  • We do sometimes run out of products. We are very lucky to have this problem. Thank you for your support and making us run out some days!

    It is our earnest intention to make enough product - plus a little extra! - at both stores so that any time a guest visits, they are able to find something they enjoy. Determining this quantity is one of our office manager’s primary responsibilities.

    We’re also trying to run something moderately sustainable. We are acutely sensitive to our bakers’ and servers’ time to prepare, bake, organize, display, and serve our products. Artisan baking = lots of time, dedication, and labor.

    Most of our products take 3-4 days to make from start to finish. We are able to bake some things “on the fly” when we run out, but usually we cannot. Thank you for your understa

  • Two things!

    1) Pre-ordering is awesome. We can make everything on our menu - and in substantial quantity - with this notice. Plus some custom stuff! This is the best route when you’d like something special, want to make absolutely sure you get what you’d like, and around holiday times.

    2) Call first thing in the morning. (352-554-5096 for Petit; 352-376-7187 for Mothercrust). We serve our full menu daily, save for very unusual circumstances. At open, we have stock of nearly everything or can count on it being on the way. We would love to reserve or set those items aside for you on any non-holiday.

  • We donate our leftover baked goods to Bread of the Mighty, a local food bank.

  • We usually host wine tastings once a month.

  • We do! The great way to stay updated on special events is to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages. We’re pretty restless, and almost always have something fun, celebratory and/or holiday related on the calendar.
